LLAW’s “Quest for Justice” in Louisiana Continues

On April 15, House Bill 917, which would make sure that all cases that deserve a trial by jury receive one, was dismissed in a sad defeat. This is yet another example of where Louisiana is “out of alignment” with other states, and will be a chance again next year to bring reforms.
