Thibodaux native becomes chief justice of the state Supreme Court

A Thibodaux native is the new chief justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court.

Justice John Weimer, 66, was sworn in as the 26th chief justice of the state Supreme Court Jan. 1. A ceremony marking his investiture will be live-streamed from New Orleans 2 p.m. Thursday on the official state Supreme Court website. Read more...
