New Orleans, LA− Chief Justice John L. Weimer announced today the Court’s adoption of amendments to the Rules of Professional Conduct pertaining to lawyer advertising. The Rules of Professional Conduct set forth the standards of ethical conduct required of lawyers.
The amendments are the result of a study and recommendations to the Court by the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Rules of Professional Conduct Committee in response to Senate Concurrent Resolution 57 of the 2020 Regular Legislative Session, which requested the implementation of a lawyer advertisement review recognition program.
