Three lawyers banned from handling BP oil spill damage claims

Following an investigation into the allegations of wrongdoing inside the claims processing center, three lawyers have been barred from handling Deepwater Horizon claims, the Associated Press reported. U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier issued sanction against attornies Lionel Sutton III, Jonathan Andry and Glen Lerner on Thursday for ethical breaches, none of the lawyers have been charged with a crime.
